Talented sand sculptor, David Jacobs, thrilled visitors to the beach with his three-dimensional works of art.
People, animals and buildings rose up from the sand as if they had a life of their own under the skilled hands of the self-taught artist. The sculptures are reminiscent of the famous Owl House at Nieu Bethesda.
Jacobs, travels up and down the coast, visiting beaches from Durban to Cape Town for donations for his work.
Although he has done sand sculptures for seven years now, Jacobs also does paintings, welding and clay sculptures.
